Cool Roofs Program - Evergy

Cool Roofs Program

High-performance cool coating for building rooftops

Upgrade your building and help reduce the urban heat island (UHI) effect with a high-performance cool roof coating. This program offers lasting benefits—and it's completely free for building owners.

Why Choose a Cool Roof?

  • Energy & Cost Savings: Cool roofs help keep buildings cooler by reflecting sunlight and absorbing less heat. That means less need for air conditioning, which can cut down on energy bills and maintenance costs for building owners.
  • Improved Comfort: Cooler inside temperatures help keep people comfortable, especially when the weather is hot.
  • Extended Roof Lifespan: Cool roofs are built with durable materials that resist UV radiation, thermal stress and physical damage from debris or foot traffic - helping extend the life of your roofing system.
  • Environmental Benefits: Using less energy helps cut down on greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Community Impact: Helps create cooler, healthier and more resilient neighborhoods.
